Located on the serene banks of the Vembanad lake, Lovedale Lakeside Homestay is the manifestation of our dreams. We (Anshad & Amina) opened the doors of our home in 2010 with just four rooms to passionate travelers everywhere. Little did we know then that it would in turn take us on a journey, one that we would never get enough of. When we began, we were just a couple who were trying to look after our two wonderful kids. But meeting people from all around the world and guiding people through our homeland and its culture has helped us understand where our true passion lies. We have been hosting guests from all corners of the world for well over a decade and we love doing it. We have enjoyed every bit of the path we have traveled as hosts and are grateful for the many storytellers that we have met.

 

At Lovedale, our goal is to give our guests the most comforting experience. So that you feel as if you’re still at home no matter how far you are from it. Uniquely placed where the Puthanangadi canal meets the Vembanad lake, it is a place of calm and peace. The beauty of it all ensures that even when you’re sitting idly in our open-air restaurant facing the lake, it will feel like an experience of its own. And with freshly cooked Kerala food to fill your stomach, you will never run out of stories to tell.
